Our Story

Built on Real Relationships

We started Blue Playa Rentals because we know Playa del Carmen—not as a concept, but as a place where people actually live and visit. Our properties span the neighborhoods guests love: beachfront Playacar, walkable 5th Avenue, quiet residential areas. We manage each one ourselves, which means when something breaks, we fix it the same day. When you have a question, you get a real person, not a bot. That's not hospitality speak. That's how we run things.

Our Team

Our founder, Liliana González, is a proud Mexican entrepreneur who studied Tourism Business Administration. Life led her onto a different path when she became a single mom, pausing her academic career to gain hands-on experience in international companies. This real-world exposure helped her develop strong skills in administration and pricing strategies. After relocating to Playa del Carmen in 2009, she identified an opportunity in property management and vacation rentals. And that's when Blue Playa Rentals was born. Today, each member of our team brings specialized skills and dedication. From our professional cleaners and expert maintenance crew (specializing in plumbing and electrical work), to our warm and helpful Concierge team and our efficient administrative staff, everyone plays a key role. We work with heart, and we wear our company colors with pride every day.
